Myth

The Elf Ranger, who can reach a height of about 7' 10", belongs to the most sneaky and heartless warriors among the Magician's Creatures. You can identify an Elf Ranger by his pointed ears, his artful bow and his gray and green colored armor or robe.

There are male and female Elf Rangers and they are both experts in archery. It's said, the Elf Rangers are the only Creatures who are able to shoot an arrow which can strike through the armor of a Doubleedged Axe Dwarf and kill him immediately. The Elf Rangers may be masters in archery, but they are really weak in man-to-man fighting. Experience has shown this above all in surprise attacks. The typical outfit of an Elf Ranger is light clothes, they think heavy armors isn't good for them. Especially while using a bow they need their free space. That's why they wear armors out of leather or cloth or a mixture. Every Elf Ranger wears an individual robe or a suit of armor. They're really fussy about that. Most of the time, the female Elf Rangers are dressed even more 'lightly'.

Elf Rangers rarely move with a Hero's horde, because they're revolted by the other Creatures and prefer walking on forest tracks or in the woods. It's the same in battles. Because of their archery skills, their long-distance range and their high accuracy in penetrating they prefer to stay in higher places. There they can observe the whole combat action and have a clear field for shooting. The Elf Rangers may be pleasant companions, but they aren't able to surpass the Dwarves in humor and friendliness.
