In the distance you feel a slight tremor, it sounds like drums. Nearby, you feel it powerfully, it sounds like thunder. These are signs you have to be aware of - they mean that the Stone Throwing Trolls are on their way.
They can be up to 16 to 20 meters tall - therefore they belong to the biggest Creatures that fight in battles for the Magicians. Not only is the height characteristic for the Stone Throwing Troll, but also his slightly crooked helmet and his gigantic hammer, which the Troll always carries with him. In times of war, they are able to smite monumental rocks out of mountains, which they throw at the enemy hordes to crush them.
Reputedly, only a few Stone Throwing Trolls are enough to eliminate a great horde. Every Creature in the land is struck with awe when it catches a glimpse of a Stone Throwing Mountain Troll - even the mighty Tree Giants are afraid of them. However, at times it can come to arguments among the Trolls, which always end at the expense of their own hordes. In one of the legends a Mountain Troll is even mentioned who had reached the phenomenal height of 28 meters. However, this one disappeared one day no one has ever caught sight of a Creature of this dimension again.
